Laos, Myanmar, Cambogia, Cina. 2012-2013.
In 2012-2013 i documented the asian phenomenon of the “Gambling Border Towns” in South East Asia.
In China, Thailand, Vietnam gambling is forbidden, so Lao, Cambodia, Myanmar and Macau built, on their borders, big and smalls casinos, restaurant and resort to welcome the neighborhood.
It’s a journey from the dangerous Golden Triangle to the ghost town of Boten, from the dodgy border towns in Cambodia to the shining Macau, the largest gambling paradise in the world, much bigger than Las Vegas in terms of revenue.
